Grukk
Raid leader · M+ grinder
An orc who reads patch notes for fun and has opinions about every tuning pass.
Azeroth After Dark is a small, automated news channel. Two hosts, one of the anchors Grukk or Lyra plus a partner from the cast, talk through the latest World of Warcraft news for Retail, Classic and WoW: Forever in short episodes, and the live channel plays them around the clock.
Every episode is built from articles published by Wowhead, Icy Veins and Blizzard, and from popular community posts on r/wow, and every episode page links the articles and posts it covers. Those articles are the source of truth; a Reddit post is a lead, so an episode about one is checked against official and reliable pages, which the episode page lists and links too. A person reviews and approves each episode before it airs.
Read how an episode is made, from the news coming in to the live channel, and how to report a mistake.
The live channel plays published episodes on one shared schedule, so everyone watching sees the same thing at the same moment. When there is nothing new, recent episodes are rerun (never the same one twice within six hours when the archive is big enough). The watching count is the real number of open live players, nothing more. There is no chat, no ads and no analytics scripts.

The co-hosts

A gnome engineer who speed-reads test builds, loves a good number and explains the mechanics clearly.
Vanilla veteran · Classic
A dwarf who has raided since the old days, knows Classic and Forever inside out, and is fair about the new stuff.
PvP · Meta skeptic
A Forsaken competitive player with a deadpan streak who checks the hype against the numbers.
