Good evening, you're watching Azeroth After Dark, and tonight every single story comes out of WoW Forever. Starting with an Auction House that is quietly eating your silver. With me: Tinkra Sparkwhistle, who reads a beta build faster than I read a loot table, Durgan Stoutbrew, dwarf and vanilla lifer, and Lyra, our lore keeper and collector. I've got the deposit testing and the Scarce material list ready to go.

And I've got opinions about auction houses older than most of ye. I'll bring the blue post on gold buyers, and the crit bug Blizzard just confirmed. That's the lineup. Tinkra, story one, Wowhead in WoW Forever. What is the Auction House doing? It's taking too much silver for deposits. Players thought their math was off, and it turns out the Auction House was the culprit. How much too much, lass? The small deposits round up to a flat minimum instead of the listed amount.

Bigger deposits are more precise, but Wowhead still found rounding errors. It started as a Reddit report, then Wowhead tested several items, including a Lesser Healing Potion and a Blazing Wand, and the balance dropped by more than the display said. At low levels every silver goes to training, so Wowhead's advice is fair. Vendor the item for now, or you're paying to sell it. From losing money to making it.

Lyra, Icy Veins says every gathering node in Forever can drop something rare. They're called Scarce materials, and this is all from the WoW Forever beta, so it can change. Scarce how? Do they get their own nodes? No, that's the trick. There's just a chance to also loot them from normal nodes or skinning. Three found so far, and here they are. So what do they actually make, Lyra? Frilled Lichen feeds one Enchanting recipe, Enchant Weapon Insight, with a chance to increase Spirit by 100 percent for 10 seconds, plus Cerulean Dye for Tailoring.

Pyrite and Pristine Leather spread across Blacksmithing, Leatherworking and Tailoring. Speaking of things that are not working as intended, Lyra, the crit story. Forever PvP. Players noticed critical strikes weren't hitting for the right amount, and compared clips against Classic. Wowhead points to Reddit threads and a clip from Xaryu. Classic duelists know exactly how a crit should feel. That community notices in a day.

So is it a nerf or a bug? And when's the fix, Tinkra? Blizzard says it's a bug, and it's going out in a future build. No date has been given. Last one, and it's the blunt one. Blizzard is coming for gold buyers in WoW Forever. It's a blue post, reported by Wowhead, prompted by players discussing streamers with mysterious amounts of gold. Buyers as well, not just the sellers? Buyers as well. They'll remove the illicit gold and can close accounts.

Here's exactly how Blizzard put it. And they say it applies now in the Forever beta, and when Forever goes live. They're also warning you about accepting gifts from strangers. That's the night in WoW Forever: a deposit bug, Scarce gathering materials, a crit bug Blizzard owns up to, and a warning to gold buyers. Two of those are bugs in a beta, which is what a beta is for. Just keep your coin in your pocket until the Auction House behaves.

Tonight's reporting came from Wowhead and Icy Veins, and the full posts are linked with the episode. Go farm a node for us. Good night.
