Lok'tar, and welcome back to Azeroth After Dark, I'm Grukk, and the whole rundown comes out of World of Warcraft Forever, the reimagined original Azeroth, still in beta. Feral Druid talents, profession clues in Dalaran, a Warrior deep dive, and more. On the desk with me: Morwen Ashgrave, who checks every claim against the actual tooltip. Durgan Stoutbrew, who was questing in this Azeroth the first time around.

And Tinkra Sparkwhistle, who reads a beta build before the download finishes. Happy to be here. My job's simple, I ask what the number actually is. And mine's telling you how we used to do it. Fairly, mind. Notes are already open. Wowhead says the beta level cap went from 20 to 30 in the latest build, so there's plenty to test. Feral Druids first. Wowhead's Feral expert Lexolas says the latest Forever beta update dropped two brand new Druid talents, Shifting Power and Improved Shifting Power.

Tinkra, what do they actually do? Shifting Power instantly converts 55 percent of base mana into 40 Energy. It's got a 16 second cooldown, and two points in Improved Shifting Power pull that down to 8 seconds. Beta build, so it can still change. That's standing in for powershifting, the old macro trick from vanilla. Wowhead says the new talent doesn't need a macro, but it also doesn't strip slows or snares the way powershifting did.

Morwen, what's the trade? Feral also lost Tiger's Fury and the King of the Jungle talent, which gave 60 Energy. Lexolas reckons that's fine for PvE, since more Energy matters more than the lost 15 percent damage. In PvP it takes out a good amount of Cat Form burst. Still in Forever, still in the beta. Icy Veins has a speculation piece about professions that might be on the way. Morwen, what did players find?

Dalaran. It's been dropped into vanilla Azeroth without its signature pink bubble, and in the Magus Commerce Exchange there are trainers and vendors for professions that were never part of vanilla. There's a jewelry shop in there, Cartier and Company, with an apprentice jeweler called Timothy Jones. Icy Veins says that's likely a nod to Lead Classic Designer Tim Jones. He doesn't train anyone at the moment.

There's a second clue, too. The character statistics panel already tracks highest Inscription skill and Inscriptions learned, with no mention of Jewelcrafting. Icy Veins calls this speculation, and Blizzard has announced nothing. Right, from maybe to confirmed. Icy Veins reports Blizzard put out the final video in its class highlights series, covering Druid, Warlock and Priest. Tinkra, put it on the big screen.

Here's part three. For Druids, Feral now benefits directly from weapon damage, and weapon enchantments and chance on hit effects work while shapeshifted. They can use consumables in form, too. The number that stands out is Berserk, which increases the critical strike chance of combo point abilities by 100 percent. Restoration Druids also pick up Wild Growth, which heals every member of the target's party.

Bears get extra threat off bleeds like Lacerate. Warlocks get Decimation, which boosts Shadow Bolt and Searing Pain against enemies below 35 percent health. And Shadow Priest is getting a complete rework. Staying on class design. Wowhead's Fury expert Babyhoof has put out a Warrior deep dive for Forever, and Durgan, the headline there is rage normalization. It is, Grukk. Instead of rage coming off the damage of your auto attacks, it's a flat amount based on swing speed, with a bonus from critical strikes.

Babyhoof calls that change much needed. The first version simply didn't generate enough rage. Babyhoof writes that Blizzard announced changes two weeks after the beta went live, adding a 75 percent additional rage modifier to critical strikes. Then raised it to 100 percent the same day. There are cuts in the tree as well. Flurry had its maximum attack speed reduced from 30 percent to 25 percent, and new talents like Furious Precision mostly replace things Warriors lost.

There's a lot more in the full post. Something lighter, but genuinely useful. Icy Veins is highlighting an addon for Forever called Forever Loot Sparkles, up on CurseForge. Tinkra, what does it fix? It puts the familiar sparkle back on lootable quest items, so you can actually spot the thing. As an engineer, I do love a small part that solves a real problem. Icy Veins suggests Blizzard might add this as an accessibility option eventually.

Nothing like that has been announced, so for now it stays an addon. Here's one you can see in the game itself. Wowhead reports a new required Playstyle selection in the Looking for Group panel in Forever. Morwen, how does it work? You pick one of four options before you can queue for dungeon groups. Learning, Relaxed, Competitive, and Carry Offered. Here are the four as they show up in the panel. Wowhead points out Competitive is an odd fit right now, because as of now there's no competition for dungeons in this game.

And Carry Offered raises its own question. Wowhead notes that G D K P runs are currently banned in WoW Forever, a ban first implemented in Season of Discovery in 2023. Last one, and it's the daft one. Icy Veins reports players have turned up several issues with the standard definition character models. Durgan, you've got the details. Female Orcs close their eyes while running, so they look like they're sleepwalking across Durotar.

Same player also reported the female Undead eye glow shifting into an odd spot around the face when you move the camera. It shows up in the character portrait too. Blizzard already fixed the same problem on the male Undead model, so speaking as one of the Forsaken, I expect our eyes back shortly. And that's the rundown. The reporting came from Wowhead and Icy Veins, and the full posts are linked with this episode.

One reminder before we go. Everything we covered comes from the WoW Forever beta, so these numbers and features can still change. Well said. For Morwen, Durgan and Tinkra, I'm Grukk, see you next time.
