Welcome. This is Azeroth After Dark, I'm Lyra, here with Durgan Stoutbrew and Morwen Ashgrave, and here are tonight's headlines. Six stories. Here's what's coming up: What's Best for WoW Forever, WoW Forever Character Creation, Professions get Fun Thematic Gear and more. And I'm Morwen Ashgrave, professional skeptic. Let's see if this survives contact with the facts. We start with this. What's Best for WoW Forever.

Wowhead reports that in Vanilla WoW and The Burning Crusade, powerful buffs such as a Warrior's Battle Shout, a Feral Druid's Leader of the Pack, and a Shaman's Windfury Totem are only available to those in the party of the class or spec offering it. In Wrath of the Lich King and beyond, these buffs were made available to everyone in a raid as well, not just a party. In other news, WoW Forever character creation portraits now have S D and H D versions.

What happened here, Lyra? Wowhead reports that players noticed that the character creation screen in WoW Forever only had the High Definition or Retail portraits for all the races, even when the Standard Definition or Classic toggle was on. Players who opt into Classic toggles in WoW Forever have been very passionate when certain features, systems, or parts of the U I are actually what they looked like in Classic.

Also tonight, Professions get fun Thematic gear bonuses in WoW Forever. What do we know, Durgan? Wowhead reports that professions have gotten a ton of new recipes, bonuses, and even gear in WoW Forever, including dungeon pieces that increase crafting speed and hammers that double as throwing weapons! Items such as these create a fun farm for players to obtain upgrades to their character that don't necessarily always upgrade their player power, which is exactly the kind of horizontal progression that WoW Forever is looking to provide.

Turning now to this. Student Fodder doesn't give rested experience in WoW Forever. According to Wowhead, Season of Discovery's Sleeping Bag quest chain makes a return in WoW Forever. The Student Fodder's buff in WoW Forever will still instantly heal and replenish a portion of your class's resource bar, but now it also applies Trail Snack, a 60 percent speed boost for.75 seconds. Elsewhere, WoW Forever players are leveling solo because grouping Slows quests down.

According to Icy Veins, WoW Forever is asking players to spend more time out in Azeroth rather than in dungeons, but being surrounded by other players does not automatically make grouping worthwhile. Recent discussions question whether the leveling experience gives players any real motivation to group with others, rather than simply leveling up solo the entire way to Level 60. To wrap it up, Did Blizzard move shields in WoW Forever by Accident?

Icy Veins reports that a small visual change in the latest WoW Forever beta build has caught the attention of players, and some are already asking Blizzard to give them the option to change it back. This change came with the new beta build for Forever, and the shield positioning changed between two recent builds without any indication that Blizzard deliberately wanted to move shields lower on characters' backs.

Those are tonight's headlines. Our sources were Wowhead and Icy Veins, and the full reports are linked with this episode. For Azeroth After Dark, I'm Durgan. See you next time.
